Audi is a renowned brand of cars that are very of popular all over the world. The Audi cars are known for their sophisticated look and style and are manufactured and marketed by the well known German car manufacturer Audi AG group. The headquarters of the company is located in the city of Ingolstadt.

The origin of the Audi dates back to the year 1909 when it was first manufactured. The first model named Audi Type A 10 was manufactured in the year 1910 in the city of Zwickau.

The initial models of the Audi engine were of 2.6 liters with a four cylindrical model. With the passage of time, other engine models like 3.6 liters, 4.7 liters and 5.7 liters is available.

In the year 1921, Audi was the first of its kind in Germany to make a production car named Audi Type K. This has a left handed drive which offered better view to the driver about the oncoming traffic.
