
The Japanese automaker Nissan produced a compact crossover SUV called Nissan X-Trail that was revealed in the year 2001. It was an era of SUVs. After the launch of Nissan X-Trail, the company incorporated companies such as – Ford with their Escape and Mazda Tribute sib, Hyundai with their Santa Fe and GM with their Pontiac Aztek. The X-trail is a truck-based model and is named after Xterra and Pathfinder. The second generation of the X-Trail was unveiled in 2007. Rogue was a makeover of the X-Trail launched in Canada and shares the same platform as the second generation X-Trail.
All models were furnished with full electric windows, electricity adjustable door mirrors, climate control, single CD player, 4 airbags and remote central locking. These were revised in the 2006 version. The revised Nissan X-Trail made its debut in 2007. It is slightly bigger than the last model and is based on the Nissan C platform. Many decorative and mechanical changes were made in the series 1 and 2 but the series 3 was a complete remake with similar appearances and engines.
