Auto care is a vital part of your driving experience from the very first day when you purchase your car. You should be able to distinguish between a smooth ride and a somewhat touch of friction drive. If you can distinguish between engine sounds too, it would be much better as you can save your car engine from being further damaged.

To achieve this, read the manual carefully as soon as you buy your car. You should know how much air pressure should the car tyres should have. You should know at what speed you should drive in order to optimize the fuel. You cannot drive too slow, thereby burning your engine, nor too fast causing your works fuel tank to get the habit of leaking gas.

Generally, what happens is that as with any item or object, cars too are subject to minor issues. If you are ignorant about the minor issues, you spend more on the car maintenance. For example, if you are experiencing delay in staring the car, not knowing what to do, you will drive straight to the car mechanic who will simply clean the spark plug and charge a hefty amount from you.

The first step towards proper auto care is to go through the user manual and make a note of common minor problems as well as the duration at which the engine and brake oils should be replaced.
